Spring: wake the yard up

Winter leaves a mess behind — matted leaves in the beds, sticks everywhere, a lawn that needs help greening up. Our spring cleanup clears it all out in one visit, so the season starts clean and your lawn gets a head start.

Full spring cleanup

One thorough visit that undoes winter, front to back:

  • Leftover leaves cleared from lawn, flower beds, and under shrubs
  • Sticks and winter debris picked up and hauled away
  • First mow of the season, with a clean edge and trim
  • Driveway, walkways, and patio blown clean
  • Your spot held on the weekly summer mowing route

Spring cleanup customers roll straight into weekly mowing when the grass takes off — no second call, no gap in service.

Summer · May – October

Summer: weekly mowing, done right

This is the main season. Your lawn goes on a weekly route and gets the full finish every single visit — the same family crew, the same care, week after week, so your weekends stay yours.

Weekly mowing service

Every visit is the complete job, done on our zero-turn mowers — never just a quick cut:

  • Zero-turn mow with clean, even stripes
  • Crisp edging along drives, walks, and beds
  • Weed whip around trees, fences, and posts
  • Full blow-off of every hard surface before we leave
  • Storm branches and yard debris hauled off when you need it

Same route, same day

Your lawn gets a regular day on our route, so you always know when we're coming — and you never have to think about the mower, the gas, or giving up a Saturday.

You don't need to be home

Most of our mowing happens while folks are at work. Leave the gate how we discuss, and come home to a finished lawn.

One call all summer

A storm drops a limb, guests are coming Saturday, the grass is growing double-time — call Dennis and we'll work it in. The owner answers the phone himself.

Fall · October – November

Fall: leaves down, yard put to bed

Once the maples let go, a lawn can disappear under leaves in a week. Left through winter, that mat of leaves smothers the grass, invites mold, and means a muddy mess come spring. Here's how the fall finish runs:

Mid-October — final cuts

We wrap up weekly mowing with a clean final cut, edge, trim, and blow-off, so the lawn heads into leaf season tidy.

Early November — cleanups begin

Full leaf cleanups start as the trees finish dropping. Routes fill fast this month — booking early holds your spot.

Before the first snow — done

Every cleanup ends with leaves and debris bagged and hauled away the same day. Your yard goes into winter clean, not buried.

The works. We clear the whole property — not just the open lawn — and take everything with us when we leave.

  • Leaves cleared from lawn, flower beds, and under shrubs
  • Driveway, walkways, and patio blown clean
  • Sticks and fall debris picked up with the leaves
  • Everything bagged and hauled away the same day

Final mow & finish work

A lawn put away right comes back better in spring. Our last visits of the season are the full service, done on our zero-turn mowers:

  • Zero-turn mow with clean, even stripes
  • Crisp edging along drives, walks, and beds
  • Weed whip around trees, fences, and posts
  • Full blow-off of every hard surface before we leave

Bagged & hauled — nothing left behind

No dragging bags to the curb yourself, no piles sitting for weeks waiting on a pickup window. When we finish a cleanup, the leaves leave with us.

  • Leaves and debris bagged on site
  • Hauled away the same day — no curb piles
  • Fallen branches and yard debris taken too
  • You don't need to be home — we handle it

Fall cleanup pricing

Priced by your property — not by the hour

Every cleanup is quoted by property size and how heavy the tree cover is, so a shaded acre doesn't pay the same as an open subdivision lot. Quotes are free — call or send the form below and we'll give you your exact price before we start.

The Standard Lot

Typical subdivision yards with a few trees. One visit gets the lawn, beds, and hard surfaces fully cleared.

  • Full-property leaf removal
  • Bagged & hauled same day
  • Drive & walks blown clean

Most common

The Leafy Lot

Mature maples and oaks, deeper beds, heavier leaf fall. The November special around here — most of our cleanups land in this tier.

  • Everything in Standard
  • Beds & shrub lines cleared by hand
  • Ask about a late-season second pass

The Big Property

Half-acre and up, rural lots, and wooded edges in Bruce Township and Almont. Priced after a quick look so the quote is exact.

  • Everything in Leafy Lot
  • Woodline & ditch edges cleared

Tell Dennis your address and town. Most quotes are handled right over the phone — no obligation, no pressure.

2

Get your day on the route

Mowing routes and cleanup days fill in the order they're booked. The earlier you call, the better your pick of days.

3

Come home to a clean yard

Spring cleanup, weekly cut, or the fall finish — the result is the same: a tidy yard, hard surfaces blown off, and every bag of debris hauled away with us.

Good questions

Before you call

When should I book my cleanup?

Now. Final mowing cuts wrap up in mid-October and leaf cleanups start in early November. November routes fill in booking order, and once the snow shows up, whatever is on the lawn stays until spring thaw.

Do the leaves really leave the same day?

Yes — that's the point. Everything we clear gets bagged and hauled away before we pull out. No bags at your curb waiting on a city pickup window.

What if more leaves fall after my cleanup?

It happens with late-dropping oaks. Ask Dennis about a second pass later in the season when you book — heavily wooded lots often plan for one from the start.

How is my price figured?

By property size and tree cover — the two things that decide how much leaf volume comes off your yard. The quote is free and exact before we start; there are no hourly meters running.

When do spring cleanups and mowing start?

Spring cleanups begin as soon as the snow's gone and the ground dries out, and weekly mowing follows right behind. Getting on the list in early spring holds your route spot for the whole summer.

What's included in a weekly mowing visit?

The full finish every time: zero-turn mow, edging, weed whip around trees and fences, and a blow-off of the driveway, walks, and patio before we leave.

Do I need to be home?

No. As long as we can get into the yard, we can do the whole cleanup while you're at work. You'll come home to a finished yard.

Can I hire you for just one season?

Of course — plenty of folks start with a spring cleanup or a fall leaf cleanup. Most end up staying for the weekly mowing too, but there's no bundle you have to buy.
